Alice Dorothy Dozier Davis, was born October 27, 1939, to Hilary and Jennie Dozier She joined Bethlehem Baptist Church at an early age.
After graduating from Riverside High School. She moved to the Bronx, New York. Aunt Dot, as we call her, loved family and her church. While in New York she joined the Grace Baptist church of White Plains. At grace Baptist church she served in many ministries to support the work of the Lord.
Aunt Dot worked in retail for several years and then in the medical fields from which she retired. All the while taking care of her husband DC Davis and raising her grandson Bobby Davis.
After returning to Saluda, Dot helped take care of her sister and joined the Clemson Extension, Good Homemaker Club, and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church faithfully until her health declined. She was a fighter and always acknowledged the grace and goodness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Her daughter Greta Davis preceded her in death. Along with her siblings, Mamie and (Pierce Sr.) Brown , Ida Mae Culbreath, Bessie (Curtis) Gantt, Susie (Joe) Henley, Margaret (Pierce Jr.) Brown, Lessie and Mary Culbreath, Willie Lee and (Maddie) Culbreath, HD and (Lois) Dozier, Frank Dozier. Her Husband DC Davis and brother-in-law Pickens Lott Jr., also precede her passing.
She leaves one sister; Tennie R. Lott, one son; Robert Davis, two step sons; Dennis and Ricky Davis, 5 grands, 6 great grands, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other love ones, and dear friends.
Service will be Thursday March 22 2018 at 2pm , Bethlehem Baptist Church, Reverend Calvin Robinson, Pastor. Arrangements Logan Funeral Home
