Alma Ruth Burt-Bosket

Alma Ruth Burt-Bosket; was born on August 25, 1950 in Edgefield County SC, a daughter of the late James and Alma Blocker-Burt, She departed this life on June 1, 2020 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC. A member of Willow Springs Baptist Church at a early age later moved to Bethlehem Baptist Church after marriage. 

Ruth as she was affectionately known attended the public school in Edgefield SC (W.E. Parker), she was employed at Saluda Milliken Plant, Michelin Tire, and Abney's Cleaners where she retired. She is preceded in death  by two sisters, Barbara Harling and Sallie Burt-Richardson and two brothers James Alvin and George Leon Burt.

Ruth leaves to cherish her memories , husband Johnny C Bosket of the home, two sons, Johnny G. Bosket (Leteia) of Johnston, SC., Lavor Bosket of Saluda, SC., five grandchildren, Deja, Alayah, and Jaden Bosket all of Johnston, SC., Asia and Amari Bosket of North Augusta, SC., one sister, Susie Graham (Mack) of Saluda, SC one brother Joe Burt of Chappell, SC. Earline Caldwell of Aiken, who was raised as a sister, she also leaves to mourn her passing, five sisters in-law Ida (James) Coates, Gelena Bosket, Shirleen Bosket, Judy Bosket, and Lillie R. (Samuel) Mathews, a brother in-law , Aubury Bosket, a host of aunts, uncles nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be Saturday June 6, 2020 at 11:00 am , Bethlehem Baptist Church, Reverend Calvin Robinson, Pastor, family viewing will be Friday at 1:00pm , public viewing 2:00 until 7:30  Logan Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
