Annie Mae Nicholson Obituary

Annie Mae Nicholson born on June 21, 1941, a daughter of the late Marshall Sr. and Odessa Nicholson-Zimmerman, passed on December 29, 2023, at the age of 82 at the Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC, "Annie Granny" as she was affectionately known by family and friends, she loved her family deeply and passionately. She was a member of Penn Creek Baptist Church where she served as a diligent member. Annie received her education in the Public School in Edgefield County South Carolina and retired from Amick Farms after 36 years of dedicated service. She supervised a great number of people and would encourage them to strive for greatness.


In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sallie Brown and Ruth Butler, a son Tyrone Nicholson, three brothers, John Albert Nicholson, Marshall Nicholson Jr. and Henry Lee Zimmerman and a grandson Andre Williams.


She leaves to cherish her memories, a beloved daughter, Juamello (Travis) Walson, two sons, Keith (Jeanette) Holloway and Napoleon (Bryony) Nicholson, one sister Anna Zimmerman, six nieces, Angel Settle, Felicia Zimmerman, Drucilla Nicholson and Leslie Walker-Moyenda, Contrena and Sinunite Zimmerman a nephew, Marshall Nicholson III, her granddaughters, Taylor, Taralissa, Natisha, Nikki, Brittany and Candice and her grandsons, Tyler, Keith,(Pooh), Camira, Fredrick, Semaj, Antwon and Mason, two bonus daughters, Doris and Belinda, a host great grandchildren extended family and sorrowing friends.
