Anthony (Tony) Wallace, born in Norristown, Pa. on the 15th of December 1957 to the late Leon Wallace and Earlene Coleman-Wallace and stepfather Robert (Bob) Sewell. On May 17, 2022 Tony entered into his Heavenly Home in Greenwood Hospice, in Greenwood, SC. at a early age while in Norristown he sang on the church choir, his family moved to Saluda, SC where he joined Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he was a member of the musical ministry, Tony was a gifted person in music he could play the drums, keyboard, bass guitar, and organ, and could sing, he was employed at; Amicks Farms, Milliken, Louis Rich, Sterlite, he retired from Samsung, he was a member of several bands, "The Last Chapter", Raw, and toured with Clarence Carter, the family would like to acknowledge his close musician friend that he cherished threw the years.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Jackie Wallace-West.
He is survived by his devoted wife Cynthia Mobley-Wallace of the home, a son, Denzel Wallace, a daughter Monique L. Wallace both of Saluda, SC, two granddaughters, Diovian A..and Ashari K. Wallace both of Saluda, SC. one brother Larry Wallace of Gaffney, SC, a niece Shuntai Wallace of Columbia, SC, sisters in-law Maleria (Melvin) Childs of North Augusta, SC, Doris (Henry) Butler of Johnston, SC, Marilyn (Roy) Barnes of Saluda, SC, Gwendolyn (Darryl) Fontenot of Hephzibah, Ga., brothers in-law Reverend Gene Mobley, and Larry (Gwendolyn) Mobley both of Johnston, SC, Alonzo (Gerldine) Mobley of Ridge Spring, SC, Bernard (Cynthia) Mobley of Johnston, SC, and a host of relatives and friends that will truly miss Tony.
Service will be Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2:00pm Logan Funeral Chapel, Reverend Richard Jackson of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church will give Words of Comfort
