Bessie Lee. Robinson born in Saluda County South Carolina on September 22,1927 a daughter of the late Otis and Eugenia Kenney-Robinson. On Sunday March 19, 2023, Bessie was called to enter into her Heavenly Home to be with her Lord and Savior, she received her education as follow; Rosenwald High School, furthered her education at Bettis Academy and receiving her BS Degree from Allen University in Education, she was a member of Mine Creek Baptist Church at an early age a Life Member of the NAACP. Bessie worked in Saluda County Schools and retired from the Georgia School District after thirty years of service, she also was one of the first teachers for Saluda's First Head Start Program.
