Charles J Miles

Charles J. Miles, departed this earthly life on August 27, 2020 in Saluda, South Carolina. A son of the late George and Catherine Boozer Miles He attended the public School in Saluda County

Bo as He was called by those who knew him was a hard worker and knew his trade well ,  He was employed at Greenwood Mills where he retired and worked at Cromley Ford  in Saluda until his health failed.  Bo was a person that loved to hunt and fish, farmer, and mechanic who could fix almost any thing,  he could look at things and would make what saw. At one time He was making rings out of bolts or stainless steel, Bar B-Q grills , trailers,  etc.

Charles has left to cherish his memories and legacy, his wife Alice Caughman-Miles of the home  one son, Michael D. Miles of Saluda, SC., two daughters Tonda M. Miles of Columbia, SC., and Briana Williams of Newberry, SC. two sisters Rachel Etheredge of Saluda, SC, Elaine Jefferson of Washington, DC three aunts Amy Lee Perry of Washington DC,  Shirley Lamen and Mattie Dominic both Joanna South Carolina, two uncles  James (Buck) Miles of Saluda, SC and Will Boozer of Joanna SC, two cousins , Clifford Perry of Laural, Md. and Terry Perry of  Lanham, Md. other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service will be Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 1:00 PM at 806 Piney Wood Road . Viewing will be Saturday  August 29, 2020 at 1:00 pm for family members and 1:30 PM to 7:00 for the public at Logan Funeral Home who has also assisted  the family with their arrangements.
