Ms. Charlie Mae Webb, affectionately called "Boo", was born July 31, 1931, in Saluda County, South Carolina, to the now late Charlie and Amanda Webb. She quietly departed this life on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at the young age of 85.

Boo had seven siblings: six sisters, Blanche, Gracie, Patsy, Virginia, Willie Mae, Lula Mae, and one brother, Benjamin.

Charlie Mae was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Boo began her education in the public schools of Saluda, and attended Saluda Rosenwald High School and graduated in 1951.

She had two children, Danny and Pandora Webb, and with children of two she moved and relocated to Washington, DC, where se made a loving home for herself and children, along with her long-time companion, Thomas "Riggs" Abney.

Charlie Mae "Boo" enjoyed being a beautician, doing hair with various coiffures and colors. She loved babysitting until she returned to the workforce with Montgomery County Public School, then retiring in 2008 with 22 years of service. She was deeply loved by her co-workers and received numerous awards.

Boo was known for her southern down home cooking. When she cooked, she was very generous and cooked enough to feed anyone and everyone. She enjoyed relaxing on the porch watching her peach and nectarine trees, going to yard sales, playing cards, going to the casinos, watching football, the "Redskins" and riding in her convertible "Suki Suki".

Boo leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Pandora Williams, one granddaughter, Nikeesha Webb, three grandsons, John A. Webb, Charlie E. Webb, and Lenny A. Webb, all of Washington, DC, seven great grandchildren, Kaliah Chapman, Johntae Jennings, Kani Webb, Ciara Wilson, Chase Tabron, Lenny Webb Jr., and Lynn Bella Webb. Two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Phillips and Mrs. Lula Mae Johnson, both of Saluda, SC; daughter-in-law, Lynn-Sheree Webb of Washington, DC, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, very close friends, and extended family.

She was preceded by her parents. Charlie and Amanda Webb, four sisters, Mrs. Blanche Wiggins, Mrs. Patsy Spearman, Mrs. Willie M. Coleman, Mrs. Gracie Lee Smith; one brother, Mr. Benjamin Sr.; one son, Mr. Danny Webb, Sr.; two grandsons, Lyman Williams Jr., and Danny Web Jr., and her long-time companion, Thomas Abney.
