Clifford Perry Obituary

Clifford Perry better known as (Big Cliff) peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 23r 2025 in the afternoon hours at his home in Laurel, Md. At the time of his transition Cliff was with his wife and life partner of 53 years, Wanda Perry. Cliff was a man of unwavering strength, unconditional love and deep wisdom. Cliff had a special way of making each of us feel important and loved. Born on the 30" day of June 1952 in Saluda, SC. He was the son of Clyde and Aimee Lee Perry and the oldest of 8 siblings. He was also a proud veteran of the US Army.

Cliff was more than a son, a father, a brother, a husband, a grandfather, brother-in-law, cousin and friend, he was also a mentor, a disciplinarian, a mechanic and a constant source of support for anyone he touched. His laughter filled us with joy and his kind heart made everyone feel welcomed and loved. He taught his family the value of hard work, integrity and compassion leading by example in everything he did.

Cliff was a people person he loved to talk to both family and friends everyone that he talked to respected him for his strong personality, you knew exactly where you stood with him. He had a unique way of turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories whether it was a simple family gathering all the way to a tongue-lashing and that was whether you needed it or not. Cliff may have left the country (South Carolina) but I can assure you that the country did not leave him. A black cowboy from his clothes, to his hats, to his boots all the way to his country music. His joy of life and his ability to make everyone feel special is one of his many endearing qualities.

Though Cliff has left us, his spirit lives on in the lessons he taught us and the love he shared with everyone. His legacy is one of resilience, kindness, and his unyielding love for his family. For those that he touched personally, we will carry his memory in our hearts, forever grateful for the time we had with him and the profound impact he made in and on our lives.

He leaves his cherished memories and legacy to his loving wife Wanda. Daughter: Nikki Perry.

Sons: Michael Jones and Cliff Perry (Lil Cliff). Grandchildren: Delonte Perry, Peyton Jones, Jordan Perry, Justin Perry, Ryan Tansmore and Robert Perry. Sisters: Miriam (Deuce) Alford, Juanita (Sis) Perry, and Diedra (Dee) Perry. Brothers: Terry Perry, James Perry, Linwood Perry (Deceased), and Richard (Rick) Perry and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
