Coral Johnson, entered into His Heavenly Home on April 28, 2021, born in Saluda, SC., to the late Bennie L. Johnson and Willie L. Stevens-Johnson . Coral attended the public school in Saluda County then he moved to Washington DC., where he worked until he retired. upon his retirement "coke" as he was called in DC., moved back to Saluda, where he would sit and talk about the old times.
He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Thelma Johnson, two brothers, Willie Thomas Johnson and Henry Bell Stevens, four sisters, Susie Mae Williams, Beatrice Nicholson, Lila Mae Simpkins and Bennie Ruth Abney,
Left to cherish his loving memory are, one son Carles (Nikka) Abney of Richmond, Va., one daughter Cora Bell Kelley of Saluda, SC., four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren., five brothers Julius (Essie Mae ) Johnson of Saluda, SC., James (Perene) Johnson of Columbia, SC., Billy (Nancy) Johnson of Ninety Six, SC., Eugene (Letitia) Johnson of Columbia, SC., Cornell (Clarice) Johnson of Millington, Tn. five sisters, Diane Graham of Saluda, SC., Sheila (Jerome) Williams of Saluda, SC, Annette Johnson of Augusta, Ga., Loretta (Corey) Williams of Mauldin, SC., Drusilla (Vernon) Redfield of Lexington, SC, one sister in-law Ethel Mae Stevens of Saluda, SC., and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends:
