Crystal Derrick, born in Augusta, Ga. on August 30, 1979; a daughter of the late Edward Joyner and the late Evelyn Derrick. "Lil ganny" and "Pork chop" is what she was called by her family and friends received her education in the public Schools in Saluda County; "Pork Chop" attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with her children where they joined at a early age; things that "Lil ganny" loved to do was,drinking coffee,being with her grandchildren; fishing and drawing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Debra Hancock, daughters April and Dixie Derrick.

She will be forever remembered and cherished by her son, Preston Weigle of North Augusta, SC, a daughter Linda Hope Derrick (Jefferine Colhoun) of Edgefield, SC, two grandchildren two brother Edward Derrick of Granteville, SC (Renee)  and Michael Karter of Newberry, SC (Diana) one sister, Chandon Ingham of Lexington, SC  aunts, Linda Marullo, Patrica Walker and Ilene Williams,adoped mother Sonya Karter,  a host of nieces, nephews other relative and friends.
