A son of the late Paul and Jessie Coleman Rosser Long, quietly enter into eternal rest on Thursday, December 15th, 2016 at his home. He attended the public school in Saluda County. "Dec." was united in holy matrimony to Doris Yarbrough and blessed with three children. He retired form the Southern Bricks of Ninety Six after 35 years of service.

"Dec" was a faithful man of God, a member of Abundant Life Apostolic Ministers of Batesburg, South Carolina, where he worked faithfully under the leadership of his pastor, Overseer Marcus long, his son until his sickness. 

Other than his parents he is preceded in death by on son Paul G.long, two brothers Rodolph and Paul Gerine Long. 

He leaves to Cherish his memories; his wife Doris of the home, one son, Overseer Marcus P. Long (Daniella), of Saluda, S.C., two daughters; Jessica A. Long, Saluda, SC., and Rudean Harris, of Newberry S.C., grandchildren; Marcio (Damian) Buxton of Aiken, SC., Marcedes Long of Saluda, SC., David, Malcolm, Yolanda Harris all of Newberry, SC., and Ja'Marioh Williams of Saluda, SC., , one sister Linda Lurk, of Saluda, S.C., six Aunts, Lola Simmons, Rachel Rohes, Lanora Springs, Bennie Mae Coleman, Ann Farrow all of Saluda, S.C., Betty Hudson of Georgia, one Uncle Tommy Banks of Greenwood, SC., great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
