Dorothea B Long

Dorothea B Long a daughter of the late Henry Bouknight Jr and Lula M Nuttry-Bouknight  entered into  eternal rest on Sunday February 16 2020 at Lexington  Medical Center in West Columbia SC.

Dot as she was called joined Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church at a early age. She loved to cook, style hair, and would keep everyone her around laughing.

Dorothea leaves to cherish her memories, two brothers, Rickie O. Bouknight of Batesburg, SC., and William Bouknight of Newberry, SC., four sisters, Lisa (Willie "Smokey") Kearse of Leesville, SC., Bonnie (Thomas Farrow) Bouknigth of Saluda, SC., Angela (Alfred) Etheredge and Pauline Robinson Burt both of Greenwood, SC., six God children, a special Aunt Joyce McElveen of West Columbia, SC.,two Aunts, three Uncles, a special friend Rooevelt Kinard, a host of Neices, Nephews, relatives and many friends. Preceded her in death other than her parents are two brothers, Jerry and Johnny Bouknight.

Service is Friday February 21, 2020 at 1;pm- Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Reverend Calvin Robinson, Pastor.  Logan Funeral Home and Chapel of Saluda, SC., assisted the family with their arrangements.
