Gerald J Smith

Gerald J. Smith, born in Prosperity, South Carolina to the late Harrison and Lorene Coleman-Smith on March 26, 1967, He entered into his Heavenly Home on July 7, 2021 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. Gerald was a member of Lockhart Baptist Church at a early age, a graduate from Saluda High School in 1984, he was united to Patsy Reed for twenty-three  years, an extremely hard worker as a truck driver making sure that his family was well taken care of .

Gerald is survived by his wife Patsy of the home, sons Jerrold Smith of Saluda, SC., and Gregory Tyler, of Columbia, SC., daughters, Lauryn Smith of Saluda, SC., Tredonya Tyler and Laquishia Tyler, both of Columbia, SC., brothers Jeffery (Maria) Smith of Greenwood, SC., Bobby (Barbara) Cameron of Greenville, SC., and Harrison Smith III of Greenwood, SC., sister Freda (Breion) Medlock of Columbia, SC., three grandchildren, Lewis Tyler and Aubbri Tyler and Dwayne Wright all of Columbia, SC., Aunts, Virginia Vaughn, Marie Glover both of Saluda, SC., Evangelyne Coleman of Philadelphia, Pa Shirley Smith of Aiken, SC.,and Annie L. Smith of Saluda, SC.,Uncles, Leroy (Mary) Coleman of Suitland, Md., Lawrence (Naomi) Coleman of Saluda, SC.,  Nieces, Nephews and extended friends and family who will continue to cherish his memories. 

Service will be Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 1:00pm Lockhart Baptist Church  Public viewing Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 1:00pm at Logan Funeral Chapel
