Mr. Jerry Bouknight was born September 18, 1956 in Saluda, SC. He was the son of the late Lula Mae and Henry Bouknight Jr. On Saturday morning, October 3, 2015, our Heavenly Father came and called his precious Jerry L. Bouknight by name and said "Let's go home". Jerry was educated in Saluda County Public Schools. He was an excellent Machine Operator with Tracey Logging Company for many years.  Jerry joined the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church at a young age. He had many talents, but he was well known for his mechanical work. He was a soft spoken man and had a big heart. He  was dearly loved by his Family and Friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Beth, a daughter Gerri and a brother John Ira. Left to honor and cherish his wonderful memories are four sisters; Lisa (Willie) Kearse of Leesville, Dorothea Long of Batesburg, Bonnie M. Bouknight of Saluda, and Angela (Alfred) Ethredge of Greenwood. Two brothers; Rickie O. Bouknight of Batesburg and William C. Bouknight of Newberry. His favorite Aunt Joy McElveen of West Coumbia, SC. Four stepchildren; Bobby, Paul, Temekia, and Eric. Four nieces, four nephews, Aunts, Uncle, and many other family and friends.
