Jimmy L. Culbreath born in Saluda, SC a son of the late Les Culbreath and Edith Culbreath-Drafts. He quietly departed this life during in the early morning hours on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Self Regional Healthcare. Jimmy was united in Holy matrimony to Mae Lee Cannon-Culbreath. Their union was blessed with two children. Jimmy received his education in the public schools of Saluda County. He was a member of the Mine Creek Burial Aid Society. He retired from Gentry's Poultry now is Best Dressed Chicken after 50 years of service. He was a die-hard Clemson fan.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife Mae Lee Cannon-Culbreath and son Jimmy Demond; three brothers Curtis, Anthony, and Arthur Culbreath; a sister, Evonne Culbreath, and a sister-in-law Mae Rene Jackson.
Left to cherish memories of Jimmy are daughters, Madelene Culbreath of the home; Katie Ann Abney of Trenton, SC; Safia Culbreath(Adrian) of Greenville, SC, Viridiana Rauch(Rickie) of Rex, GA; son James Cannon of Saluda, SC; seven grandchildren, Davaunt Culbreath, reared in the home; brothers Thomas Junior Culbreath and James Donald Culbreath of Saluda, SC; sister Linda Lurk; as well as a host of loving nieces and nephews, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
