JOHNNIE Mae Culbreath "Tootie" was born on July 3, 1947 in Corona, New York. She was the beloved daughter of the late Johnny Culbreath and the late Katherine Bush-Culbreath, she departed this earthly life to be with her Heavenly Father on March 29, 2025 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood , SC surrounded by her family.
"Tootie" as she was affectional called by her family and friends attended the public schools in Queens New York, a graduate from Flushing High School in Flushing, New York.
During her working years she was a CNA for the elder and disabled;she enjoyed listening to music, dancing and having family fun; "Tootie" never had children of her own but always refered to her nieces and nephews as her own; after her sister Diane and other cousins moved to South Carolina she soon followed, making South Carolina her home. A member of New Salem CME Church,
Precious memories of her will forrever live on in the hearts of her three sisters; Barbara Jean Jones of Johnston, SC; Shirley C. Kilpatric of Saluda, SC and Diane C. Kelly of Chappells, SC;; Godson Eric D. Murray of Chappells, SC; Goddaughter, Tomita Parkman (Reggie) of Greenwood, SC, a host of nieces, nephews relatives, and friends whom are sadden by her departure.
