Melvin Minick Jr

Melvin Minick Jr. born on May 24, 1972 to Melvin Sr and Cynthia Minick in Prosperity SC., passed away on October 26, 2020 at Prism Health Richland in  Columbia ,SC,. a member of New Salem CME Church at a early age. attended the public school in Saluda County and attended Spartanburg Methodist College in Spartanburg SC., He was a hard worker and loved his family.

Melvin loved  his sports fishing and football. He was united to Abena Paige and through this union two children were born , Melvin III and Palesa  Minick , and God added Hasani Morris as a third child. Sisters, Doris Morris (LC), Kelly Price (Shawn) and Kimberly Anderson, brothers Jacob Jr., Clayton and Cedric Anderson  (Porcha)  a special brother Robert Coleman. Aunts Ida Mae Minick, Amelia Anderson, Leila Ann Dunn ,Willie Jean Minick , Shirley Minick and Wilhelmena Maxfield, Uncles Charles  Abney (Barbara Ann), Toney Minick (Betty) three brothers in-law, Rene, Herbert and Sekou Paige. He is preceded in death Lester Minick, Jacob Anderson Sr. and Gary W. Anderson .

Service and viewing ; Viewing November 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM for the public at Logan Funeral Home, or on November 2, 2020 a Public viewing at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Lockhart Baptist Church, Reverend Herman Jenkins, Pastor -- Burial will be at New Salem CME Church
