Melvin Eugene Yarbrough

Melvin E Yarbrough departed this earthly life on July 16, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem NC., a son of the late Willie and Mary Ann Lott Yarbrough. "Joe"  as he was known by his family and friends joined the Mt Moses CME Church at a early age, attended the public school of Saluda county.  He served on the Usher Board, and was Church Secretary. He loved reading the Bible, listening to spiritual hymns, cooking, riding his mountain bike and watching westerns on TV .

He leaves to cherish memories are his  ten siblings; Helen Johnson of Philadelphia, Pa., Canarie Smith and Willette Henley both of Waterbury, Cn., Mary E Davenport of Cowpens, SC., Wade Yarbrough and Doris Long both of Saluda, SC., Gayle Yarbrough of Aiken, SC., Joan (Roy) Campbell, Brenda (Jesse) Williams and Curtis Yarbrough "Tim" all of Saluda., nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Service will be Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at one pm , Mt Moses CME Church Saluda, SC., Reverend Ida Shipman, Pastor. Arrangements by Logan Funeral Home and Chapel
