Ritchie G. Cheatham was born on August. 13, 1965 in Greenwood, SC a beloved son of Tommie Cheatham and the late Essie Mae Stevens-Cheatham. On June 29, 2023, Ritchie gained his wings and was called home to his final rest. 

Ritchie received his education at Saluda Schools, where he became a great football player (#66) for the Saluda Tigers. There he gained his name "Small Hog". Ritchie was a die-heart Pittsburgh Steelers fan, who was free- hearted and outspoken. He loved cooking out and socializing with family and friends. He always told stories from his past to make everyone laugh.

He was preceded in death by his mother Essie Mae, grandparents Mary-Ruth, Wilson Stevens and Graham Williams.

Loving memories of Ritchie will forever be cherished by his wife Annette Key, stepsons Nicholas Key, Derrick and Lavoris Coleman all of Aiken, SC. His father Tommie (Barbara) Cheatam of Saluda, SC. Three sisters Valarie (Sherome) Clark of Saluda, SC, Janet (Roosevelt) Young of Edgefield, SC, and Carmen (Jerry) Johnson of Saluda, SC. One brother Randy (Sharee) Stevens of Columbia, SC. He will also be missed by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and host of family and friends.
